Event Description: Osage City Christmas on Market !! an electrical evening of lighted parade floats!!
The 2014 Parade Theme (and window decorating theme) theme has not yet been selected. SAD NOTE: As of June 2014 - a chairman and committee for the 2014 Christmas Opener have not come forth or been identified....so the lack of a detailed organizer and committee volunteers, it will be very difficult - maybe impossible -- for the 2014 O.C. Christmas on Market opener to come to fruition.
The look of anticipation on the faces of old and young alike -- Amazing! The joy of seeing Santa riding on top of the firetruck! The excitement of waiting for a lucky child to help Santa pull the switch to light the downtown buildings! Waiting to hear the winning ticket numbers announced. Oh, and lapping up the tasty chili -- from the gourmet chili cookoff -- Yes, the cook off returns!
The day is chocked full of activities --something for everyone!
NOTE: Not sure of 2014 activities - but if the past outline is used, the day will line up something like the following:
