The painted grotto under the Hometown Hardware Store is worth the trip down the steps. Painted by local artist Rachel Prohaska, the walls depict exotic trips to European hideaways. While there, pick out a toy for a favorite tot or select BBQ needs or rentals. Need regular paint and hardware? Just go back upstairs!

 

Hometown Hardware is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday 1-5 p.m. The ice cream window is open during store hours during summer.
