About this Exploration: The It seems there are always fun things going on in the museum. A new addition is the Santa Fe Trail mystery box. Visitors stick their hands in holes and guess the object inside. Each item is an object important to riders on the Santa Fe Trail. There are many trail artifacts on display.
Museum Director, Cynthia Blount, is an ace detective when it comes to digging up historical information. She will be glad to assist in your quest for data concerning your family tree or ancestral home.
Open Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ![]() The building was formerly the home of the Baptist Congregation. It was constructed in 1882. For a few years in the early part of the 20th Century, the Baptists and Presbyterians shared a minister. It was name the Federated Presbyterian and Baptist Church. Both churches maintained their own Sunday Schools during this time. The partnership was dissolved in 1925 when both churches were able to support a minister on their own.
