Email Address: director@lmlibrary.org About this Exploration:  Readers will find the World's Largest Book on the front of Memorial Library in Liberal. The original entrance to the library was through the book.
Remodeling in latter years moved the entrance but kept the unique architectural feature designed by architect, George Pitcher, and built by Vane Higgins Construction Company.
Liberal Women's Club orginally sponsored the library in 1903 and the current building was dedicated in 1955.
