About this Exploration: Running your hands across the rough stone surface, one can only imagine the many hours of hard work our fore fathers spent building this sturdy structure. This native stone building, known as the Beulah Stone Church, was originally built in 1904 for the Free Methodists. To visit the church and nearby cemetery, drive 11 miles north, 3 miles east, and 3/4 mile north of Leoti.
The Beulah Stone Church was one of the finalists for the 8 Wonders of Wichita County contest in the Rural Cultural Element of Architecture.
