Selkirk Hand Dug WellAddress:
North of Highway 96
About this Exploration: Built for the Santa Fe Railroad in 1887, the Selkirk Hand-Dug Well is lined with stone and is 24 feet in diameter and 102 feet deep. Located on the north side of the railroad tracks in Selkirk, this site also features a depot and caboose. While shorter than the Greensburg Hand-dug well by 7 feet, any explorer should take the time to peer into this deep hole. The big red caboose serves as a great place to explore and take photographs.
