Lost 80 Park is owned by the Lansing Correctional Facility and leased to the city of Lansing. 

Local lore has it that the park got the name Lost 80 because the prison forgot it had the land for a number of years and rediscovered that it belonged to them.  The park has a playground, sand volleyball court, state stocked fishing pond, covered picnic area with tables, and restrooms.
