About this Exploration:

The first cutter was built from a base of a ford truck and continued to individual componets produced in George Pletts machine shop. Early machines were severly underpowered but soom large diesel engins were installed with many of the modern features of modern equipment. Numerous builders came into being as farm enterries but through the years over 400 machines were built. The original patents were sold to major equipment builders and eventually back to the Plett brothers. Examples are in the Inman Museum.
