Explorers can begin the journey west on Highway 24 at the kiosk in Glasco. The stories are told by local residents, using the 8 rural cultural elements as the lens to focus on their towns. The kiosks are available 24/7, year-around, from Glasco to Hoxie.

The history of the highway can be viewed at the Corner Store, Glasco, in an exhibit created to accompany the Smithsonian Journey Stories exhibit in 2009. The Corner Store is open every Tuesday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.,or call to arrange a special showing.
