Offering an extensive genealogy section, the Wilson County Historical Museum is housed in the former Wilson County Jail and Sheriff's residence. Take a tour through the themed jail cells while seeing early pioneer artifacts, period clothing, Indian arfifacts and even mastadon bones. The museum also houses the county obituary index.
