About this Exploration:  An inspirational dedication to veterans, the park is beautifully landscaped. A huge mural is painted on the wall adjacent to the park. An interesting covered area over looks the park.The mural was painted by Barbara Chavez. Not much is known about the artist other than she lived in Marion County for a short time and has since moved away.
This park was a project of the Florence Pride Organization. There are bricks engraved with the names of veterans that commemorate their service to our nation.
